Spiritual work doesn't happen in a day, in a week, in a month. But eventually it penetrates, and you look back and say, wow, I really did change.
There is a story of one of the greatest sages of Kabbalah, Akiva, who at the age of forty was one of the most negative people around — until the day he fell for a woman who was very spiritual. But he thought, "I can't change, so I'm never going to be good enough for her." Although they were enjoying their time together, he was convinced there was no hope.
One day they walked by the bank of a river and saw a little stream passing through a big boulder. She said, "See that? Do you think the hole in that boulder, which allows the stream to pass through, happened in a day, a week, or even in a month? No, it happened drop by drop by drop, year after year, until eventually it created the hole through the boulder allowing the water to pass."
... remember the three keys necessary to penetrate any boulder blocking your fufillment: patience, commitment and desire. As long as you are willing to bring these qualities into your daily spiritual process, you're going to break through — sooner or later.

TEMPLE BAR et al

V pondelok vecer ma prisli pozriet do Dublina dve kamaratky - Zuzka a Katka! Tak bolo fajn, hoci kratka, navsteva bola pekna.
Dievcinky pochodili v utorok po meste, navstivili rozlicne miesta a dozvedeli sa nove veci (videli a poculi aj to o com ja neviem a som nepocula hoci tu uz 4 mesiace zijem... hm, nikedy je dobre byt turistom...)
No a vcera vecer - teda v utorok - sme si spolu vysli von. Boli sme v Czech Inn-e ("ceskej krcme" - som si dala maso-knedlo-zelo / a bolo fajn!), a potom na hodinku v Temple Bare, na pohariku. Kopec fotiek sme porobili - coskoro ich postnem.
Dnes odisli.
Ja, naopak (a ako zvycajne) sedim v praci a chystam sa na ucty... Hmmm... Tak drzte palce!

On Monday two of my friends - Zuzka and Katka - came over to visit. Though short, it was a lovely visit, and - wow wow wow - I got to get to Temple Bar with them last night! So - can say, now, I have been to Dublin down town, can I?
We had a fine time last night, had a light dinner at Czech Inn, and then a drink at Temple Bar - Zuzu had a cocktail, Kata a pint of Guinness, and I - Corona, hee haa...

we don't go into a temple to worship God, we go into a temple to reveal the God within us...
I meet so many people who downright hate themselves and it pains me to see it. Even the worst among us have so much love and joy and sweetness to reveal. All it takes is learning to accept ourselves a little more, each day.
Today, get in the mode of being good to yourself. If you mess up, be gentle, talk to yourself in a soothing, kind voice. "It's OK. I am learning. I am getting better every day." The more we open our heart for ourselves, the more we can open it for others".

no, uz som sa cely tysden neozvala - a naco by som sa ja? ved som bola doma, tak to co sa dialo nebolo tym pre ktorych som toto spustila nezname... (mozno a snad niekolkym dalsim znamym a priatelom vo svete, ale ... no ved, to sa napravi...)

I found this site today - trip advisor travel map - and - they have different types of "quizes" on there... so - I has some fun... having travelled a bit, but knowing my geography knowledge is not too fine... I found out it wasn't too bad, either...
